Life is busy for Ellie Pickles, there is a lot to being an Online Campaign Manager at Freeman Grattan Holdings!

Following a placement year and quick leap back to university to finish her degree, Ellie Pickles is now the Online Campaign Manager for Bon Prix, one of Freeman Grattan Holdings clothing brands. When we caught up with Ellie to find out more about what she does, she was bursting with passion and enthusiasm about her role and the important part it plays for Bon Prix.

So, if like us you are wondering what life is like for an Online Campaign, look no further than Ellie! The first thing to say is that no two days are the same, Ellie is responsible for a huge host of activities from email campaigns, search engine optimisation (SEO), online advertising through google and other sites, the onsite development of both the mobile app and the website as well as making sure the website is kept up to date and constantly improved! This all sounds like rather a lot of work for one person, so Ellie also works across the business with other departments to accomplish all the tasks and projects that she is working on.

Her flexible approach and adaptable nature play a key part in her ability to keep on top of all the online campaign activity. The role of the Online Campaign Manager is incredibly fast-paced so taking change in her stride is critical to this role in retail.

Ellie credits some of her success to having a genuine interest in the online campaign field, whether it’s emails coming through on her phone from other companies or keeping an eye on what the competition is doing. For Ellie keeping in touch with how customers are shopping, what they want and what they need are key to delivering successful online campaigns.
